Mt. Tarak Trail Run Training - Feb. 23, 2014 (Limay to Alas-asin Mariveles, Bataan)

This was our 4th trail run training for TNF100 and was my very first time in Mt. Tarak.

I was so late this time for the original time of our meet-up should be 2am in Genesis bus terminal Cubao. I came past 4am. Still that doesn’t stop us on our training day.

Here's my itinerary from Limay road to Alas-asin and to Mt. Tarak trails.

Overall performance: 40+km in 9.45hrs

04:24 - Genesis bus leave from Cubao (base fare P246 to Limay)

06:33 - Arrived at Limay newly constructed bridge to Limay town proper

06:46 - Start run

10:24 - Arrived at Alas-asin Mt. Tarak jump-off (in carenderia last preparation) 20km

10:30 - Start trek

10:56 - Arrived at Nanay Cording, register

11:15 - View deck cement post DENR.

12:15 - Arrive at Papaya River

12:30 - Start ascend Tarak ridge

13:30 - Arrived at Mt. Tarak peak

14:00 - Start descend

14:29 - Papaya River

16:00 - Arrive at Nanay Cording

16:13 - Arrive at Jump-off (Paliguan) 20+km - End of the Training =))
17:49 - Bound back to Manila (base fare from Alas-asin P276)
